Accolade Wines expands Wise Wolf range with new Sauvignon Blanc

Accolade Wines expands Wise Wolf range with new Sauvignon Blanc

Wise Wolf, the eco-conscious wine brand from Accolade Wines, has announced the launch of a delicious new French Sauvignon Blanc. Presented in an innovative glass bottle made from 100 per cent post-consumer recycled glass, Wise Wolf Sauvignon Blanc will be available at £12.

The striking bottle design embodies Wise Wolf’s commitment to sustainability, featuring 95.1 per cent recycled material in its total packaging. This new release is not only a treat for the palate but also a visual delight, breaking the mould of the standard 75cl bottle designs with its distinctive look.

The labels are made from 100 per cent recycled paper, the closure from 100 per cent recycled plastic, and the outer case from 100 per cent recycled paper pulp. This aligns with current consumer trends, as 77 per cent of wine consumers strive to live environmentally-friendly lifestyles, which is six per cent higher than the average Great Britain consumer.

Wise Wolf Sauvignon Blanc is a light-bodied and refreshing white wine with notes of citrus and flavours of fresh, tropical fruit. With a touch of nettle, this French sauvignon blanc is rounded off with a crisp and zesty finish. Perfect on its own for hosting, or paired with food this summer.

"We are excited to introduce our new sauvignon blanc, reflecting our dedication to quality, sustainability, and innovative design," said Tom Smith, Accolade Wines Marketing Director – Europe. "Our team is constantly evolving to align with consumer preferences, and we have identified a significant opportunity to cater to the demand for lighter and premium wine options. This new addition to our portfolio exemplifies our commitment to providing an exceptional wine experience that not only meets the sophisticated tastes of our consumers but also appeals to those who are environmentally conscious.

“As the wolf is the catalyst for positive change in the wild, so too is Wise Wolf endeavouring to be the catalyst for positive change in the wine industry; inciting a revolution by always trying to reimagine the future of wine. With Wise Wolf Sauvignon Blanc, we aim to bring a fresh and innovative perspective to the wine industry, setting a new standard for excellence and sustainability."

Wise Wolf’s is a key player in the wine industry. The brand ranks as the third most incremental French brand in the latest market analysis and is vital in attracting younger shoppers to the wine category.

According to the study, around two in three drinkers (64 per cent) have felt the need to order a "certain stout drink" to fit in and nearly half (42 per cent) fear they might be judged poorly for choosing a cocktail over a pint on St. Patrick’s Day. Enter the Schneaky Espresso Martini glass by Kahlúa – a saviour for many cocktail lovers on 16 and 17 March.
