Armen Topalian is new Market Director at Mars Food UK

Today, Mars Food UK proudly announces that Armen Topalian has become their new Market Director, replacing Craig Sargeant who has been promoted within Mars.

Armen will combine his responsibilities as Sales Director with overall responsibility of the Mars Food UK business and sit on Mars’ European Food leadership team.

“At Mars Food we have category leading, consumer favourite brands," said Topalian "I am excited about stepping into this new role and continuing to work with our retail partners to drive category value whilst facing into the changing world around us as we move past the pandemic and understand consumer behaviour shifts and new trends”.

Topalian had been Mars Food UK Sales Director since August 2019. During that time, he oversaw Mars Food’s Covid-19 response, ensuring strong availability through the pandemic whilst supporting those in need with the donation of five million meals, the development of Mars Food’s partnership with the Trussell Trust, the launch of the first mono-material ready-to-heat rice pouch and most recently the launch of Ben’s Original.

Armen joined Mars in 2016 as Grocery Channel director for Mars Pet Nutrition UK and prior to that worked at Unilever and Birds Eye.
