Attention: final call for this year’s Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust applications on Oct 15

Stop Press – reminding our readers that the deadline for the Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust (LTCT) undergraduate bursary applications for this year is nearly here, with final entries due by 15 October.

The bursary provides up to £3,000 in financial aid for university students whose parent or carer works in eligible professions such as convenience retail, supermarket store work, or pharmacy roles. The funds can be used to help cover tuition fees, course materials, equipment, or travel costs, offering vital support as the cost of higher education continues to rise.

“We believe everyone deserves the chance to pursue higher education, and our bursaries help ease the financial burden for families," says Professor Anna Vignoles, Director at LTCT. "We encourage all eligible students to apply before the 15 October deadline.”

Don't waste another minute! For further information on the Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust, a full breakdown of bursary eligibility and to apply, visit: www.leverhulme-trade.org.uk.
