Welsh spirit brand AU Vodka is setting new benchmarks in retailer support and marketing.

In a recent heartwarming gesture, Welsh spirit brand AU Vodka replaced stolen stock from a convenience store in Tenby, after a video of a shoplifting incident went viral on social media.

The spirit brand reached out to Tenby store owner Vince Malone after he posted a video of woman stocking up AU Vodka cans and leaving the shop without paying up. On watching the video, AU Vodka Sales Director Tom Smith reached out to the retailer and offered to replace the stolen stock.

Smith wrote on social media, "After seeing Vince Malone LinkedIn post last week of a substantial amount of Au Vodka products being stolen from his store it was only right that myself and the team went to replace them!

"After chatting with Vince for a while it was apparent to me that this is something that happens a lot up and down the country and something that needs to be sorted. Retailers are the backbone of Au and a lot of other brands to so it is important we can help and support where necessary!"

The Swansea-based supplier later visited Tenby Stores and gifted some ready-to-drink vodka cans and a three-litre bottle of vodka to store owners Vince and Fiona Malone. In the video shared, the staff of AU Vodka can be seen replacing the cans on the shelves of the store themselves.

Vince stated, "What a great team they are at Au Vodka. Amazing product. Amazing people!"

AU Vodka often undertakes campaigns and initiatives that stir interest and curiosity.

The successful Swansea brand, which was launched in 2015 by school friends Charlie Morgan and Jackson Quinn and has since gone on to achieve global success, recently broke a world record for the world's largest bottle of vodka.

The company secured a place in the Guinness Book of World Records after creating a 2.1 metre tall bottle containing 250 litres of Au Vodka, which is currently on display at Stansted Airport.

The one-of-a-kind creation has been put up for sale on its official website for £150,000. The sale would also include the official world record certificate, and a small tap fitted to the rear of the bottle to allow the vodka to be dispensed.

The brand is also running a special offer for Premier, Londis or Budgens store owners to win a brand new "AU Vodka" van for their store on purchase of any five cases Au Vodka products.

The brand is also known for giving a customised AU strawberry bottle to retailers, complete with store's name on the bottle.
