‘Better with Pepsi Max’ campaign aims to maximise mealtimes

‘Better with Pepsi Max’ campaign aims to maximise mealtimes

Pepsi MAX has launched a new campaign to celebrate food moments that can be elevated with the taste of Pepsi MAX. As a continuation of the brand’s ongoing platform, "Thirsty For More", the sugar-free cola is showcasing how to make the UK’s meals even more enjoyable with its bold flavour through a new multi-channel campaign, "Better with Pepsi MAX", and brand partnerships.

Complementing the nationwide campaign, consumers across the UK are also invited to enjoy irresistible food and drink combinations brought to life through exciting collaborations with KFC, alongside celebrity chef Big Zuu, Amazon Ads and Twisted, food media brand at Jungle Creations.

Showcasing the bold nature of the brand, "Better with Pepsi MAX" has launched with disruptive out-of-home, digital and radio advertising, appearing across the UK to show cola fans some of the delicious meals that the taste credentials of Pepsi MAX can effortlessly make better. Eagle eyed consumers will notice the digital OOH creatives that cleverly complement KFC through neighbouring posters, connecting the fast-food chain’s "There’s Nothing Like the First Bite" visuals with Pepsi MAX’s own "Better with Pepsi MAX" visuals through the simple reach of an arm.

“We’re so excited to launch ‘Better with Pepsi MAX’ to celebrate the nation’s love for a refreshing no sugar cola during mealtimes. Last summer’s Pepsi MAX Taste Challenge confirmed 70 per cent of the United Kingdom prefer the taste of Pepsi MAX to the nation’s top-selling full sugar cola brand, making it the perfect addition to mealtimes for an even better dining experience," said Georgina Meddows-Smith, UK Beverages Marketing Director.

Richard Hall, Marketing Director at KFC UK&I commented: “At KFC, we like to think we know a thing or two about pairings – after all, our Secret Recipe of 11 herbs and spices are a match made in heaven. And that’s why we’ve collaborated with our friends at Pepsi MAX with their new ‘Better with Pepsi MAX’ campaign. Because nothing beats a Pepsi MAX and delicious KFC. Nothing.”

The new campaign also appears in proximity to KFC locations and across partnering local restaurants, reminding hungry cola fans of the winning combination to an unforgettable mealtime experience.

"Better with Pepsi MAX" and the brand’s partnership with KFC, Amazon Ads and Jungle Creations’ Twisted will be live nationwide from early May.
