Booker recalls Jack’s Guacamole because of undeclared allergen

Booker recalls Jack’s Guacamole because of undeclared allergen

Booker Group Limited has issued a recall for its Jack’s Guacamole 125g product because it contains milk which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

The 125g products with best before dates 24 June 2023 have been affected.

Booker added that it has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The wholesaler has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its retail customers.

Consumers who have bought the affected product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents are requested not to eat it. They can return it to the store from where it was purchased for a full refund.
