Bournemouth retailer wins Camelot £10k quarterly prize

Bournemouth retailer wins Camelot £10k quarterly prize

Bournemouth-based National Lottery retailer, Caglar Kirici – owner of Premier Hillview Stores on Hill View Road – has won the £10k top prize in National Lottery operator Camelot’s Site, Stock, Sell online quarterly prize draw.

Caglar maintained high in-store standards for the sale of National Lottery products in the quarter, giving him automatic entry into the big draw – which has a £20k prize pool, with one £10k top prize and 10 £1k prizes up for grabs each quarter.

“I felt really overwhelmed when I found out from my Camelot Sales Exec that I’d won,” said Caglar. “I wasn’t expecting it at all, especially winning the top prize which is a huge amount of money. I will use it to support my family and take them on holiday, and we’ll be able to visit lots of attractions. I can also take my colleagues for a meal to thank them for their hard work.”

The following retailers each won the second prize of £1,000 in the draw:

· Amandeep Justin of Kooner Stores in Letchworth Gardens

· Ranbir Singh Lakhanpal of Seaview Road Convenience Store in Wallasey

· A National Lottery retailer in Birmingham*

· A National Lottery retailer in Borehamwood*

· A National Lottery retailer in Glasgow*

· A National Lottery retailer in Godstone*

· A National Lottery retailer in Haywards Heath*

· A National Lottery retailer in Leicester*

· A National Lottery retailer in Swansea*

· A National Lottery retailer in Warrington*

“I was over the moon with the news that I’d won. I’ve only been trading with The National Lottery for six months so it’s a great start,” said Ranbir. “It’s also my first business, so this truly is an amazing start for me and my family.”

Amandeep said: “I don’t usually win competitions, so to win this one was a big surprise. It’s good timing with Christmas on the way. I'll also share some of it with my staff and give some to local charity.”

Camelot’s Retail Director, Alex Green, commented: “Congratulations to this quarter’s winners, who have each worked hard to win their prizes. Maintaining high in-store standards takes time and effort and helps keep The National Lottery front of mind among customers, which positively impacts sales and, importantly, returns to Good Causes.”
