Brewgooder joins hands with Camden Town Brewery to launch new product for charity

Glasgow based B Corp brand Brewgooder and Camden Town Brewery are proudly partnering with Hubbub, a creative charity inspiring action that’s good for the environment, and for everyone. The launch of a new Tropical Haze IPA, named FILLA, will support ten selected community fridges within the UK, furthering the broader efforts to enhance community connectivity, access to affordable food and waste reduction.

FILLA will be available in a 4x330ml pack exclusively sold in Co-op stores nationwide at an RRP of £7.00. Brewed at 4.6% ABV, the Tropical Haze IPA is the perfect summer beer bursting with mango & pineapple notes in a striking pink can.

FILLA is the latest product launched by Brewgooder in a series of impact-making brand collaborations with other brewers. Brewgooder’s value sales have now reached £4.2M MAT with the brand experiencing +73 per cent growth versus last year, making them the number nine Craft Beer brand in the UK.

“We’re incredibly excited to be partnering with Camden Town Brewery on our new beer, whilst also supporting such a great cause with Hubbub in the process”, said Alan Mahon, co-founder of impact brand, Brewgooder. “We’ve created a crushable beer that hits all the flavour trends in the craft category so we’re confident it’s going to be a real hit throughout the summer while supporting a local, high-impact project with Hubbub’s community fridges.”

Fred Nesbitt, Head of Marketing at Camden said, “We’re big fans of Brewgooder and Hubbub at Camden Town Brewery so we’re thrilled to be partnering with them on a new beer, Filla. This hazy IPA has been brewed to help fund Hubbub x Brewgooder community fridges across the UK, a cause we’re proud to be supporting. I’m looking forward to seeing IPA lovers enjoying this delicious new beer over the coming summer months.”

Liam Sweeney, Senior Creative Partner at Hubbub said, We are proud to join forces with Brewgooder and Camden Town Brewery on the FILLA project, which brings much-deserved attention to community fridges across the UK. This collaboration is about more than beer—it celebrates the people behind these fridges who work hard supporting their communities and reducing food waste. Every pack sold highlights their work and the difference they make to their communities.”

Swizzels limited-edition Valentine’s Day treat

Sweet maker Swizzels has unveiled a brand-new limited-edition product in time for Valentine’s Day, combining two of its most-loved brands into one treat: Squashies Love Hearts.

Offering a fresh twist on two popular classics, the new Squashies Love Hearts combine Squashies’ signature soft texture with the iconic and timeless messages of Love Hearts.

Squashies remain the No. 1 sugar confectionery brand in the market, while Love Hearts see consistent growth, with 950,000 units sold during the Valentine’s period and a 10 per cent year-on-year growth in brand value. Building on this success, Swizzels has combined the two household names to create a fast-moving and profitable addition to any retailer’s offering.

Available in 120g bags and sold in cases of 12, each foam sweet is embossed with a fun message or emoji, making them ideal for sharing with a loved one. Messages include "KISS", "WOW", "FAB", and "LOVE", alongside two cheerful and romantic emojis, adding a playful touch.

With an MRSP of £1.15, the new product retains the classic colours and flavours of traditional Love Hearts, including Pineapple, Lime, Blackcurrant, Lemon, Cherry, and Orange.

Swizzels’ Love Hearts range remains a Valentine’s Day favourite, led by the popular 39g Giant Love Hearts rolls, which outsell any other Valentine’s SKU with 621,000 units sold during the season.

Other fan-favourites from the range include Love Hearts Originals Hanging Bags, the 15g mini Love Hearts rolls and Giant Love Hearts multipacks.

“We’re excited to introduce a delicious and innovative new product that combines two of our most popular brands, delivering the same moreish flavours and signature texture - with an added twist," said trade marketing manager Clare Newton.
