Broadland Drinks new wine range championing favourite varietals

Broadland Drinks is shining the spotlight on the nations’ favourite multi-country wine range, My Fave. Launching initially with an Argentinian Malbec, South African Sauvignon Blanc and a Californian White Zinfandel, My Fave will hit the shelves in two national retailers this autumn, with further retailers following in January.

With 73 per cent of consumers ranking grape varietal as the most important factor when choosing a wine, and as Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc and White Zinfandel continue to top the charts as the most popular red, white and rosé varietals, My Fave’s eye-catching design makes it easy for consumers to navigate the wine fixture.

Sourced from leading countries of origin, the range has already been awarded several medals from the IWSC and Decanter. Kat Hall, Senior Brand Manager at Broadland Drinks commented: “Argentina and California are synonymous with Malbec and White Zinfandel, and South Africa is the fastest growing origin for Sauvignon Blanc. South Africa offers consumers great quality and value, so we expect the origin to maintain its increased share of Sauvignon Blanc as consumers look to make savings”.

With its simplistic yet elegant label, My Fave has been designed to appeal to a younger wine shopper. “Label design is even more important for younger shoppers and plays a key part in decision making, we designed this with millennials and older Gen Z in mind and the brand has resonated well with consumers and received great feedback," added Hall. "We’re really excited to be able to offer consumers their favourite varietals with award winning wines from the places they know and love, all under one brand they can trust”.
