BuzzBallz launches 1.75 litre Biggies

BuzzBallz launches 1.75 litre Biggies

BuzzBallz Cocktails has launched a new limited edition 1.75 litre large format which it said will help convenience retailers to capitalise on the take-home market as the festive party season approaches.

The ‘BuzzBallz Biggies’ range lands on shelf in November with three flavours - Strawberry ‘Rita, Tequila ‘Rita and Choc Tease. All are priced at £28 RRP and come in 3x1.75l cases (13.5% abv).

The number of in-home drinks and party occasions is set to surge as consumers plan festive gatherings in the home in the run up to Christmas. Alongside this, larger format and sharing sizes are gaining momentum as consumers seek good value drinks that go further, suit the party vibe and bring guests together.

The large format ballz are ready to pour and share, with each containing almost nine servings. Already a hit in the US, especially for taking to parties, the screw-top lids mean the sharing-sized ballz are portable and can be stored in the fridge.

Retailers will be looking to rotate their alcohol fixtures now, and BuzBallz Biggies are set to be a real hit as the party season approaches. They really stand out on shelf with the vibrant colours, giant size, and fun flavours.

The unique, premium, bar-strength RTD cocktails are perfect for today’s grab-and-go lifestyles, making them ideal for taking to parties as an impulse purchase, as a gift for the host, or for storing in the fridge for impromptu gatherings.

“Our single-serve BuzzBallz Cocktails have enjoyed real success in the convenience retail sector since launch last summer and we know the time is right for us to launch this larger format into the UK market - we know our fans are ready for it,” David Relph, country manager UK and Ireland, said.

“Plus, we’re keen to make sure our offering stays lively and varied in the UK to ensure we are helping retailers cater for their shoppers by offering the right products at the right time, and we are expecting increased shopper demand for take-home formats suitable for sharing. We’re certain BuzzBallz Biggies will appeal to existing fans and attract new shoppers - they’re great value and fit into many group occasions in the home - think festive gatherings and house parties, console and board gaming nights, pre-drinks before heading out to hospitality venues, and as a planned purchased for weekend festivities.

“Consumers want a variety of fun and exciting quality premixed cocktails that taste good, at a decent price. We’ve selected the flavours showing the strongest demand and growth in the UK and we know our fans will be buzzing with excitement when they see Biggies in store. In addition, the green, red and white colours fit into the festive colour scheme.”

The launch of Biggies comes hot on the heels of the brand’s Pornstar Martini launch in July this year, which joins the Choc Tease, Tequila ‘Rita, Strawberry ‘Rita, Lotta Colada, Chili Mango and Espresso Martini. All of which are full recyclable and use 15% recycled plastic in their construction.
