Cadbury FC expands successful campaign with Win A Weekend in Their Boots competition

Cadbury has announced the launch of the Win a WEEKEND in Their Boots campaign, which will give winners the chance to grab an all inclusive experience - that’s VIP match day tickets, travel and luxury hotel stay, pitchside access, a meet and greet with a club legend, plus a stadium tour and loads more.

Running from January to March across hundreds of Cadbury packs, the campaign will build on two years of tremendous success through its Win a Day in Their Boots promotion by offering chocolate-loving football fans an even bigger money-can’t-buy football experience through its Cadbury FC platform.


The off-pack promotion runs across a huge range of tablet, multipack, bag, single and biscuit products including Cadbury Buttons, Cadbury Twirl, Cadbury Wispa, Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo, Trebor, Maynards Bassetts and for the first time Cadbury Freddo Multipacks, and many, many more!

Shoppers simply need to pick up a participating Cadbury product, enter the barcode and batch code on the Cadbury FC competition site, select their preferred participating club and are immediately entered into the prize draw.

The top prize offers six winners – one from each participating club – the chance to win 2x VIP match day tickets to a home game, pitch side access and an exclusive meet & greet with a club legend, accommodation for two nights and travel to and from the game – as well as other club and Cadbury-related merchandise and spending money.

Additionally, other winners have the chance to win one of hundreds of shirts from partner clubs or one of over two thousand of £10 or £5 Lifestyle or AllGifts.ie gift vouchers.

Participating Clubs for Win a Weekend in Their Boots are Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, Leeds United, Liverpool FC, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, while Cadbury Partner Clubs include Arsenal FC, Aston Villa Women's FC, Birmingham City FC, Celtic F.C., Chelsea FC, Leeds United, Liverpool FC, Manchester United, Rangers F.C. and Tottenham Hotspur.

The new campaign builds on the tremendous success of last year’s promotion which saw a 159 per cent increase in entries in its second year in 2023, helping more than 350 lucky winners get access to a match of their choice.

The timing of the campaign, launching in January and running through March, aims to boost retailers’ sales after Christmas, the brand said.

“The previous promotionhas been tremendously successful over the last two years and building on this to launch Win a Weekend in Their Boots in 2024 will help further increase the impact and excitement around our Cadbury FC partnerships,” Chris Parker, brand manager for Cadbury at Mondelēz International, said.

“The last activation was incredibly successful, driving more entries than ever before and prompting more people to get involved. We fully expect Win a Weekend In Their Boots, with its incredible VIP prize for the top prize winners, to get fans even more excited and drive purchase in store for retailers.”
