Captain Morgan launches Strawberry Daiquiri cocktail pre-mix can

Rum brand Captain Morgan has introduced Captain Morgan Strawberry Daiquiri pre-mix can (five per cent ABV) to its ready-to-drink portfolio. The new ready-to-drink 250ml cans are available now across the wholesale and convenience channels, in both PMPs and plain packs.

Tapping into the burgeoning pre-mix RTD category, which has grown 16.7 per cent in value over the last 12 months, the new Captain Morgan Strawberry Daiquiri pre-mix can provides consumers with a high-quality, classic cocktail, from a brand they know and love to enjoy during social occasions.


The new pre-mix is made using crushed strawberry juice with a squeeze of zesty lime mixed with Captain’s finest rum for a fun and fruity taste. Simply pour into a cocktail glass, or enjoy chilled straight from the can, Captain Morgan Strawberry Daiquiri is perfect for celebrating those special moments with friends.

The launch of Captain Morgan Strawberry Daiquiri follows shortly after the brand introduced a new pack design across its entire portfolio, which was rolled out globally from March onwards across both the on and off-trade. Its bright red pack guarantees stand out shelf appeal, featuring nods to the pre-mix flavour profile.

“This latest innovation leans into shoppers’ desire for convenience, as well as the booming popularity of cocktails, with two in five consumers in the on-trade now choosing to drink cocktails at least once a week. Captain Morgan provides consumers with high-quality, exciting drinks options to suit a variety of occasions, especially as we head into the summer months.”
