Carl Palmer joins DCS Group as chief operating officer

DCS Group has announced the appointment of Carl Palmer as its new chief operating officer.

Since starting his career in operations at Unilever, Palmer has gained a wealth of operational leadership experience across a variety of organisations, including Associated British Foods and PepsiCo, before moving to his previous role as UK supply chain director at PZ Cussons.


Palmer will oversee all group operations both in the DCS head office and distribution centre in Banbury, and DCS Manufacturing based in Redditch in Worcestershire.

“The opportunity to contribute to the DCS legacy is truly a privilege,” Palmer commented.

“A successful business model has delivered 30 years of continuous growth across sales & distribution, manufacturing, co-pack and export, and this is all underpinned by an incredible team which I'm now proud to be a part of. I look forward to leading the operations and supply chain teams to delight our customers and suppliers, and for the exciting growth that lies ahead.”
