Cheeky Panda extends range with Dry Wipes box

Sustainable personal care, baby, and beauty brand The Cheeky Panda is relaunching its popular dry wipes in a box instead of a roll. The Cheeky Panda Bamboo Dry Wipes are the same great product, but now in a more convenient format, and they can be used with or without water to clean even the most delicate skin.

“Our silky smooth Dry Wipes are made with 100 per cent FSC-certified bamboo, they can be used wet or dry, and are perfect for all skin types, not just for babies,” said Director of Retail Dave Southgate. “They are plastic – and chemical-free, and they are minimally packaged to reduce waste.”

Each box of 100 FSC-certified 100 per cent sustainable bamboo, vegan certified Dry Wipes helps consumers to reduce their carbon footprint by 0.13kg. as well as helping to prevent 150g of single use plastic entering the waste cycle.

“Sustainability has been a key driver for significant numbers of consumers over the last few years,” says Dave, “with over 50 per cent of 25-54s seeking on-pack sustainable messaging and certification and over half of consumers concerned about climate change. Even with the current rising cost of living, not all shoppers are willing to compromise on their sustainable living goals, and so will continue to seek out brands and new products that deliver.

“In recent years, 70 per cent of consumers have either been actively looking for or considering products which can help them to reduce their personal impact on the planet. It’s about more than just offering an easy to recycle outer box or bottle though. Our recent case studies – undertaken with the collaboration of several independent retailers – support the research that shows consumers are looking at the fundamentals of the business’ ethos. Our case study retailers experienced increased basket across our whole range, and these Dry Wipes also contribute to The Cheeky Panda’s goal of producing products that are kinder to people as well as the planet.”
