Christmas pre order sales for Nisa retailers opens

Shoppers at Nisa partner stores are able to pre order fresh frozen and chilled Christmas products from the festive food catalogue this week.

The early sales event for chill categories comes after a successful pre-sell for seasonal ambient lines and again includes an extensive range of Co-op own brand alongside branded options.

From party treats and snacking to the main meal itsel, the range covers all eating occasions including starters, meats, side dishes and delectable desserts.

There is a strong focus on Co-op own brand for Nisa partners, offering them maximum opportunity to showcase the range to shoppers and demonstrate that as independent retailers, the choice they have available in store is both vast and competitively priced.

Tracey Redfearn, own brand manager at Nisa, said: “Shoppers are increasingly looking to own-brand for great quality food at great value, day in, day out.

“A lot of people have spent much of this year living on a reduced income and we’re facing a recession and high unemployment rates, so value for money is going to be key for many shoppers this Christmas and stocking a credible range of own-brand products is going to be more important than ever.

“Almost half of shoppers believe Christmas lunch is the main part of the day and with 60 per cent of total spend on Christmas Day food spent on own-brand products last year, there is a brilliant opportunity for Nisa partners to make the most of the Co-op range available to them.”

Nisa partners have until Wednesday 19th August to submit their online orders allowing them time to plan well ahead for the festive season.
