Cofresh expands frozen range with new street snacks and exotic veg

Cofresh has unveiled a range of new frozen Indian snacks and exotic vegetables in a bid to engage with consumers through innovation.

Best known for its popular sharing packs of Grills and traditional Asian mixes, such as Bombay Mix, Cofresh’s new and authentic snacking products have been launched in response to growing consumer demand for innovative quick and easy, street-inspired food for the home. Featuring potato and chickpea flour based Batata Vada and Aloo Tikki, the range also includes other popular street snacks such as Vegetable Kathi Roll and Tandoori Chilli Potato Kathi Roll, as well as a hand-stretched, restaurant-style Tandoori Garlic Naan.

The new additions to the frozen vegetables range comprise Toovar Lilva (Pigeon Peas), Shredded Coconut, and Garlic Cloves, and complement the existing range that includes Whole Baby Okra, Cut Okra, Karela (Bitter Gourd), and Tindora (Ivy Gourd).

“Busy post-pandemic lifestyles coupled with changes in our eating habits mean that frozen food is now an integral part of our daily diets,” said Khushroo Nariman, NPD Manager at Cofresh. “Not only have we seen a significant rise in demand for the convenience of frozen food and easy cooking, but people are also seeking out increasingly innovative, exciting, and authentic foods and flavours as they experiment with new cuisines.

“Our new frozen snacks meet all these requirements and are the perfect solution for consumers keen to recreate out-of-home experience and enjoy great flavours free from the hassle of cooking from scratch!
