Cotswold Fayre unveils new distribution partnership with Turkish confectionery brand

Fine food wholesaler Cotswold Fayre has announced a new, exclusive distribution partnership with authentic Turkish confectionery brand, Hazer Baba.

The origins of Hazer Baba can be traced back to 1888, when as a small family business traditional confectionery was made for local sales. Today, the company is a leading global exporter selling its famous Turkish Delight products in more than 40 countries.

“As a modern business, over the years, we have adapted our manufacturing processes to meet our commercial needs, but our loyalty to our authentic Turkish Delight recipes and traditional family values continues to be the focus of our brand,” Sahin Elma, the company’s owner, said.

“We feel that Cotswold Fayre will do a great job of representing not just our products in the UK but also our brand ethos too.”

Hazer Baba offers a huge selection of Turkish Delight in array of different flavours including Pistachio Turkish Delight and Cherry Berry Turkish Delight. While the brand is best known for its delicious confectionery, it also offers a selection of traditional Turkish instant fruit teas.

Laura Strapp, ambient buyer at Cotswold Fayre. Commented: “Completing the partnership agreement in Turkey, meant we were able to meet the team behind the brand and learn first-hand about the intricate manufacturing process.

“We can certainly see why they are so proud of their brand and what makes it stand out from their competitors. We are looking forward to growing this successful partnership in the years to come.”
