Country Choice adds Christmas pizzas to its Flatstone Pizza Co. concept

Provider of in-store bakery and food to go products for the convenience retail sector, Country Choice, has added two new Christmas options to its Flatstone Pizza Co. concept – one for meat eaters, and one for vegetarians. Made with seasonal ingredients and the signature Flatstone Pizza Co. hand-stretched dough, they add a touch of festive magic to a retailer’s food-to-go offering, creating a real point of difference, and boosting sales this Christmas.

"Our experience is that unique food offerings tend to do well during holiday periods and these two tasty additions very much acknowledge this by capturing the essence of a traditional Christmas feast, but in a pizza!", says Phil Carratt, Head of Marketing and Strategy at Country Choice.


Flatstone Christmas pizza

The Christmas Pizza sees the authentic Flatstone Pizza Co. base smothered with a delicious tomato sauce (made using sun ripened Portuguese tomatoes) and topped off with cranberry sauce, a generous layer of grated triple cheese (Mozzarella, Monterey Jack, and Cheddar), ham strips, slices of succulent turkey breast, smokey bacon pieces, and the pièce de résistance – sage and onion stuffing balls delicately drizzled with rich gravy.

The Veggie Christmas Pizza also boasts the same authentic hand-stretched base, which is covered with sweet cranberry sauce, delicious triple cheese blend, Quorn sausage patties, and stuffing balls.

As with all of its products and concepts the Christmas pizzas come with full marketing support. In this instance, Country Choice is offering free-standing tent card menus to sit alongside the retailer’s existing Flatstone Pizza Co. menu, as well as an eye-catching poster for display in-store.
