A convenience store in Surrey was reportedly burgled in the early hours of Friday (28) during which £500 worth of products and cash were stolen from the store.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and share information.


According to the force, the commercial burglary took place at around 3.30am at the SPAR store in Mytchett Road in Camberley.

During the incident, cigarettes, vapes, alcohol and cash to the approximate value of £500 were reportedly stolen before the suspects fled the scene.

Local media outlets quoted a spokesperson for the police as saying, "The suspects drove in the direction of Frimley in a silver vehicle believed to be a Honda CR-V. The two suspects were wearing dark clothing and face coverings.

"One had a distinctive pair of joggers with light coloured thighs and black below the knee and a black hoody with a NIKE symbol in yellow/green."

Elsewhere in Swindon, a convenience store was cordoned off by the police for reasons yet unknown.

Some incident took place at a convenience store on Moredon Road, Moredon, near the junction with Church Walk South, on the evening of Friday (28).

Pictures show several police units responding to the incident last night, while a cordon had been placed in front of the shop's entrance.

In the media images, items within the shop can also be seen strewn on the floor, although it is currently unclear how exactly and what kind of incident unfolded.

One passer-by described seeing five police vehicles at the scene and a "few blood droplets on the floor", Yahoo News reported.
