Disaronno UK announces new category and marketing director

Disaronno UK has confirmed their new category and marketing director as Miranda Osborne, after previously working as brand director for Molson Coors.

Ms Osborne’s new role will her increase the brand awareness for Disaronno and Tia Maria, while promoting the launch of several upcoming innovations.


The announcement comes after Disaronno’s parent company, Illva Saronno, decided to end their 20-year distribution and marketing deal with William Grant & Sons UK.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Disaronno International UK as the Category & Marketing Director,” said Ms Osborne. “It’s a great privilege to support the setup of the UK subsidiary and to be on board at the start of the journey.”

Prior to her career move, Ms Osborne has also worked for MediaCom, Nestlé and GlaxoSmithKline.

Neil Jardine, managing director of Disaronno International UK, said: “This is a very exciting time as we build our new UK subsidiary, and to be able to attract talent like Miranda is hugely gratifying.

“She has chosen the perfect time to join as we accelerate our plans to establish the footprint for our business. Miranda will play a key role in the leadership team, where her brand experience will put us in a very strong position as we look to the future.”

‘Grocery tax’ to add £56 to food bills

The upcoming “grocery tax” could hit hard-pressed Britons in the pocket, adding up to £56 annually to household shopping bills and costing families as much as £1.4 billion a year, state reports on Sunday (22) citing a recent analysis.
