Dole Sunshine Company introduces two new flavours to Fruit in Juice cups range

Dole Sunshine Company introduces two new flavours to Fruit in Juice cups range

Leading packaged fruit products and healthy snacks firm Dole Sunshine Company has announced two new additions to its Fruit in Juicecups range.

The new flavours of Mango in juice and Pear in juice complement the existing range of Tropical Fruit, Peach, Pineapple, Mandarins and Mixed Fruits in juice cups.

The two new flavours are now available to the grocery and convenience channels with immediate effect in convenient packs of four, meaning the great taste of these sun-ripened fruits can now be consumed either on the go, in the office or kept in the fridge or cupboard for a later date.

Like the other Dole fruit in juice variants, both new products contain 100% fruit in juice with zero added sugar, have less than 100 calories per serving, and come in a handy four pack with an RRP of £2.19.

“We are delighted to bring these two new fruit in juice products to the UK in variants which we know consumers are looking for. Dole currently enjoys a 60 per cent share of the fruit in juice category, so these new additions should help us build on that position and support our journey towards becoming a health and wellness brand, providing consumers with healthier food options in convenient formats that you can take with you,” Andrew Bradshaw, UK Sales Director of Dole Sunshine Company, commented.

“With no added sugar, artificial colours or flavouring, these two new flavours to our Fruit Cup range provide an excellent source of vitamin C, count as part of your five-a-day and are delicious, whether served chilled or enjoyed at room temperature.”

Dole Pack straight Pear

Dole’s fruit in juice offers a convenient way for consumers to eat more fruit that is tasty, fun and easy to prepare.

Made with Kaew and Chok Anan mangoes which are grown in Thailand and Vietnam and are one of the sweetest varieties in the world, the mangoes have a firm juicy bite and are rich in vitamin C, essential antioxidants, and dietary fibre.

The Pear variant is made with Williams type pears, which are harvested during peak season in Greece, and then steam peeled to retain their freshness and crunch. Plump and juicy, they are also rich in essential antioxidants and dietary fibre.

Additional research commissioned by Dole with C-Space market research agency, identified both Mango and Pear within the top seven fruit varieties that consumers would be interested in trying in fruit cup format across several countries.

Gnaw ‘new-stalgia’: pud-themed Chocolate Spoons and flavoured choc bars

Tapping into “new-stalgia” (an anticipated hot food trend in 2025), Gnaw has been working tirelessly to rethink Great British puddings by creating a number of “Hug in a Mug” classics (Crème Brulée, Bakewell Tart, Sticky Toffee Pud) in conjunction with an impressive “pudfolio” of dessert-flavoured bars: New York Cheesecake, Christmas Pudding, Banoffee Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Desserts may prove divisive. For many the last course will always be a fitting finale to a great meal spent with friends of family, enticing comfort food that offers a nostalgic peek into happy custard drenched, ice cream topped memories from yesteryear. For others, desserts are an unwitting dalliance with guilt-filled soft sponges, buttery pastry, seductively sweet fillings, crumbly toppings, sticky sauces …
