Dr Oetker launches new decorating icing tubes

Dr. Oetker, the UK’s leading home baking brand, has launched two new decorating products to add to its extensive range of home baking supplies.

The White and Gold Decorating Icing 50g tubes have been designed to make it much easier for home bakers to add writing and intricate detail to bakes.

With the trend of personalised cakes on the rise, particularly throughout lockdown, home bakers have been creating all manner of scratch bakes for special occasions such as birthdays.

Gold has been a hugely popular baking trend colour for 2020, while the white colour provides bakers with a simple yet effective way to decorate their creations.

Adding that personalised touch is why Dr. Oetker has launched the two new products to give home bakers an advantage when it comes to getting a professional finish with real crowdpleasing results.

Alongside adding personalised writing, bakers can use the Decorating Icing products to add intricate and delicate finishes to cakes and bakes.

Jen Brown, head of marketing, cake & dessert at Dr. Oetker UK, comments: “We understand how important it is to home bakers to add that personalised touch to their cakes, particularly when occasion based. These two new launches offer a new way to add writing or intricate detail to home creations, in a helpful new design that gives a professional finish whatever your ability.

“We went for these two colour options as white is a classic when it comes to cake decoration. The gold taps into this year’s trend for metallics which will be seen across all kinds of home baking decoration.

“We highly recommend using both the white and gold products together for a luxurious, professional finish that people won’t believe was done at home!”

Dr. Oetker Decorating Icing White (50g, MRRP: £1.50) and Dr. Oetker Decorating Icing Gold (50g, MRRP: £1.50) will be available in Waitrose from July and Co-op from August.
