Eisberg becomes official alcohol-free wine supplier of England and GB Hockey

Eisberg becomes official alcohol-free wine supplier of England and GB Hockey

Leading alcohol-free wine brand, Eisberg, is now an official supplier to the England and GB Hockey teams.

With almost one in three people expecting to find alcohol-free alternatives at sporting events*, having low and no choices behind the bar has never been more important.

Eisberg engaged with GB Hockey fans at the successful FIH Pro League at London’s Olympic Park in June, through pitch-side branding and a presence on the big screen.

The company is set to connect with over 100,000 England Hockey members through a mix of social media and the Club Together newsletter to promote a balanced lifestyle ahead of the new season.

“We’re delighted to partner with England and GB Hockey, especially in an Olympic year. This summer will be a great platform for the future of the sport which we are excited to be a part of,” said Dan Harwood, Eisberg’s Managing Director for UK and Ireland.

“Eisberg’s brand ethos is around making healthier choices and living a balanced lifestyle. Our commitment to supporting players, coaches, and officials at every level across the country, truly reflects our core values and we are eagerly anticipating the Games this summer ahead of the beginning of the new domestic season.”

Eisberg Selection launched earlier this year and boasts a high-quality cuveé, drier taste and excellent aromas whilst the best-selling Signature range is made up of affordable, easy-to-drink wines.

It comes as a survey revealed more than one in three Brits are now "sober curious" and looking to cut down their alcohol intake.

Dan Harwood added: “With two ranges to choose from, Signature and Selection, cutting back on alcohol has never been easier.

“Whether you’re looking to reduce your alcohol intake during a training season, for help benefits, or if you prefer to go sober, there’s an Eisberg for everyone.”

England and GB Hockey CEO Nick Pink, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Eisberg as one of our Official Suppliers. It was fantastic working alongside them for the FIH Pro League in London in June and we are pleased that they will be offering a low or non-alcoholic alternative for those within the hockey community that want an alternative option.”

Jameson teams up with Admiral, for a tracksuit modelled by Kyle Jameson

Irish Whiskey brand Jameson has been the English Football League's (EFL) main spirits sponsor for two seasons and is deeply entrenched in all aspects of the league, including player sponsorships. It has now signed up with Admiral to celebrate both brands' association with the beautiful game. They have worked closely together to create a full retro-inspired tracksuit in Jameson’s signature green, featuring key elements from Admiral’s world-famous designs for team performance wear, to create a slouchy royal green trackie ready prepped for pubs, presents, party games and freezing cold five-a-sides this Christmas.

Jameson shares a history rich with the beautiful game, so teaming up with an iconic heritage brand like Admiral felt like a natural fit, with the results speaking for themselves,” said Josh McCarthy, Brand Director for Pernod Ricard UK. “A classic tracksuit, from two classic brands, to look sharp after the match when buying your mates a round of Jameson, Ginger and Lime. Nostalgia is everywhere at the moment and growing up in Leicester, there was no shortage of Admiral tops in the park and at the local football clubs.”
