The team at EUROSPAR Maghaberry recently held a bake sale in store, in aid of local charity, Northern Ireland Chest, Heart & Stroke (NICHS).
The store raised £835 which will go such a long way in helping the charity continue their work for families across Northern Ireland.
“We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our shoppers, our team, their families and many of our local suppliers who donated products for the bake sale,” Lesley Duckworth, community representative at EUROSPAR Maghaberry, commented.
“We thoroughly enjoyed selling cakes, buns and sweet treats in exchange for a donation for such a vital charity. It was especially rewarding to engage with shoppers and listen to stories of why NICHS is close to their hearts, and how the charity has helped them and their families.
“We are so grateful to have such amazing shoppers and a dedicated store team who are so supportive in all our fundraising activities and I wish to thank them for their efforts in raising this money.”
NICHS run a number of services across Northern Ireland to help people and their families to meet the challenges of living with chest, heart or stroke conditions.
