EXTRA Gum’s video game can help you re-enter society

EXTRA Gum’s video game can help you re-enter society

Today, Mars Wrigley’s EXTRA Gum launches the next installment of their “Get Your Ding Back” campaign: a video game to help people re-enter society!

“Get Your Ding Back: The Game” is a web-based experience allowing players to simulate the scenarios they are likely to encounter as they return to the post-lockdown world. Scenarios range from putting on pants, to kissing your crush, to shaking a colleague’s hand. The game can be tricky but, with a little help from EXTRA Gum, players can regain their confidence to return to socialising out in the world.

The launch follow’s last month’s global, viral film “For When It’s Time.” But this time, EXTRA isn’t just showing you what the world of the near future might look like. Instead, EXTRA is helping you train for it in what they’re calling a “virtual experience for actual reality”.

You can watch the video game trailer here.

The game is available on mobile or desktop and can be played at getyourdingback.com

“It is time for us to reunite with others and we’re all missing that essential ‘Ding’. What better way to hone those social skills, than by playing our specially created game? Extra is excited to play a role in getting people ready for socialising in person again!" said Chirag Shah, Extra Senior Brand Manager, Mars Wrigley.

In addition to reacquired social skills, players also have the chance to enter a prize draw to win 75 packs of EXTRA Gum and a £75 ASOS voucher.
