F. Duerr & Sons releases the ‘ulti-mutt’ dog treats

Jams- and condiments-makers F. Duerr & Sons have branched out into pet treats with Peamutt Balls, "a delicious and affordable peanut butter treat for your pooch", which they say is so good that dog owners might even sneak a bite.

Designed as a tasty snack or training treat, the new Peamutt Balls are packed full of protein and contain healthy fats, vitamin B, niacin and vitamin E.

Made from dog-friendly peanut butter, the balls contain additional peanuts, chia seeds and apple puree.* The Peamutt Balls are Palm Oil free and for dogs with sensitivities they are also grain and gluten-free.

The snacks come in a handy pocket-sized bag and are aimed at on-the-go shoppers looking for convenience.

Peamutt Balls are the perfect incentive treat for agility or dog training classes. This high protein ball can also be moulded – making it an easy go-to when administering tablets to your dog.

The new Peamutt Balls will be available from the end of April and will be available to Independents and Convenience stores.

F. Duerr & Sons Manchester – established in 1881 – is a family business famed nationwide for its household jams and marmalades, and is also the biggest producer of peanut butter in the UK.

Peamutt Butter was crafted by this family of dog lovers to ensure everyone in the family can enjoy the joys of the nutty treat. Peamutt Butter is the UK’s number one vegan peanut butter for dogs.

Gnaw ‘new-stalgia’: pud-themed Chocolate Spoons and flavoured choc bars

Tapping into “new-stalgia” (an anticipated hot food trend in 2025), Gnaw has been working tirelessly to rethink Great British puddings by creating a number of “Hug in a Mug” classics (Crème Brulée, Bakewell Tart, Sticky Toffee Pud) in conjunction with an impressive “pudfolio” of dessert-flavoured bars: New York Cheesecake, Christmas Pudding, Banoffee Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
