Fancies front the Country Choice Easter Parade

With Easter firmly on the horizon there’s no better time to stock up on thaw and serve confectionery, such as the new Country Choice range of Easter Fondant Fancies.

Share a slice of profit at the second busiest time of the year with a mixed case of fancies, strawberry or lemon flavour sponge topped with a crème cheese icing, a thick fondant layer and a sugar-coated chocolate egg decoration. The 85g cakes come individually wrapped, 10 of each flavour to a case, with an RRP of £1.40 per fancy.

Traditional Hot Cross Buns and Easter Cupcakes are back. The sweetly spiced buns are stuffed with fruit and mixed peel, packed in fours, ready to defrost, with an RRP of £1.25 per pack. The cupcakes, topped with lemon or chocolate icing and a chocolate mini egg, are always a winner, with an RRP of £1.40, available in a mixed case of 20.

Also popular with the younger generation, Gingerbread bunnies have bounced back. The 65g rabbit-shaped, ginger flavoured biscuits decorated with sugar bean buttons come in 30s with an RRP of 85p each. Meanwhile, the Cornflake Cake with its chocolate flavoured coating, chocolate egg and sugar strand topping is loved by all ages and comes individually wrapped in 20s, ready to thaw and serve, with an RRP of £1.40.

A mixed case of Bakewell-style tarts brings a twist on a classic with lemon or chocolate varieties. Lemon flavoured frangipane in a sweet pastry shell is topped with lemon fondant, while a chocolate sponge version is finished with chocolate fondant and a white chocolate decoration. The 125g tarts have an RRP of £1.40.

Gnaw ‘new-stalgia’: pud-themed Chocolate Spoons and flavoured choc bars

Tapping into “new-stalgia” (an anticipated hot food trend in 2025), Gnaw has been working tirelessly to rethink Great British puddings by creating a number of “Hug in a Mug” classics (Crème Brulée, Bakewell Tart, Sticky Toffee Pud) in conjunction with an impressive “pudfolio” of dessert-flavoured bars: New York Cheesecake, Christmas Pudding, Banoffee Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
