Fazilas spice up product range with new meals, snacks

Fazilas spice up product range with new meals, snacks

New foods and refreshed product lines have been launched by Fazilas with clean branding also transforming the company’s range.

New Mexican-themed snacks are a major development area, with the launch of frozen beef and chicken quesadillas and chicken tikka and beef taco pockets to the range.

Another creation is frozen tandoori chicken filled naan breads, delivering a twist on popular favourites and a quick-cook snack solution.

Frozen curries with basmati rice are also a significant area of product growth for the business with a new range of eight including chicken madras, chickpea and potato, chicken tikka masala, vegetable curry and a meat biryani.

Completing the development in Fazilas’s product portfolio is a revision of its pizza lines with a new doner meat topping. Existing peri peri chicken and chicken tikka masala toppings have also been refined and their presentation improved.

The quartet of developments is being supported by a clean and modern revision of the Fazilas branding, which has been introduced across the entire range, giving the packaging more standout in-store.

Fazilas are based in The Valley, Bolton, and the new product lines are in a growing number of SPAR stores. The company’s existing wraps, snacks and curries are popular with customers and are available in SPAR stores across the North of England.

“We constantly seek to innovate here at Fazilas and develop products that are ahead of our market competitors," said Rashid Ray, Sales and Marketing Manager at Fazilas.

“We have had great early customer feedback on our new product lines, and we are thrilled that customers are enjoying our snacks and meals.

“They are currently in SPAR stores owned by the Cleary family in the Manchester area, and these are soon to be introduced into SPAR stores under the ownership of A Y & Y Patel in Bradford and Dewsbury as well.

“Fazila Malek, our company founder, has years of experience of producing high-quality and authentic Asian- and ethnic-inspired dishes.

“Whenever that extends to overseeing the creation of new products, whether traditional or fusing together cuisines that deliver amazing flavours, her research and development is extensive.”
