Fix8 Kombucha conquering the British aisles

Fix8 Kombucha conquering the British aisles

British Kombucha brand, Fix8, continues to go from strength to strength. The brand, which launched with in Oct 2022, has seen sales increase by over 1000 per cent since then.

Fix8 is now available to independents via a host of wholesalers including new distribution partners CN Foods, DDC and Wholegood.

(Food Service is also seeing success with listings in Zuma and Oblix bar groups as well as high-profile office accounts including Meta, Netflix, HSBC and Beauty Pie to name a few.)

Specialists in gut health, Fix8 is the ONLY Kombucha range in the UK to feature science-backed probiotic live cultures AND Vitamin C, ensuring unrivalled immune and gut health goodness in every can.

Founded by gut health enthusiast Freya Twigden in 2018, Fix8 has also bolstered its team with a significant new hire. Amar Gohil joins this January as Commercial Director from Asda, where he was previously Head of World Food. Before this, Amar spent 14 years at Tesco, and held various commercial roles within Food and Beverage since then.

“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining the team and alongside Freya have huge ambitions,” said Amar. “Together we will focus on scaling both the Fix8 and Fibe brands through UK markets as well as turning our attention to international expansion. Both Fix8 and Fibe appealed to me not just for the gut-health goodness and taste of their drinks, but also how they contribute to expanding choice for customers in making healthier soft-drink purchases. I look forward to working alongside Freya and the highly-motivated team to help take the brand to the next stage"

British-born and -made, each Fix8 Kombucha soda not only tastes delicious, but is made from 100 per cent natural ingredients, loaded with 25 per cent of the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C and is brimming with two billion live cultures which are great for the gut. Available in three fresh flavours: Ginger Turmeric, Strawberry Basil and Sicilian Citrus, the drinks are also low calorie, plant-based and UK made.

Founder Freya Twigden says: "As the first kombucha in the UK to have science backed live cultures alongside vitamin C, we have a clear point of difference. Not only can we make a prominent immune health claim front of pack, but we also pride ourselves on not using stevia in Fix8 which provides a barrier to purchase for many kombucha customers. Our tasty, easy drinking kombucha with functional benefits also comes at an accessible price point – which is crucial for customers today. Now with Amar bolstering the team further, we look forward to cementing our position as a key player in functional soft drinks in the year ahead and are so grateful to have the support of our retail partners as we continue to build the brand”.

RRP: £5/four-pack, £1.79/individual can, 250ml.
