Florette introduces new resealable pack

Leading salad brand Florette has introduced a new packaging for its best-selling mix, Classic Crispy.

The pack features a resealable tab at the top of the bag, which offers greater convenience for consumers by allowing them to open and close the pack repeatedly without losing the salad’s freshness.


Florette said it has been developing this product for the past 12 months.

The brand also offers Freshness Guarantee for the pack, promising to give consumers their money back if they are not satisfied with the freshness of the leaves.

“At Florette, ensuring the best quality and freshness possible for our consumers is always our number one priority and this latest innovation offers a solution by providing the ultimate convenience while keeping the leaves fresh,” said Hazel Clark, marketing controller at Florette UK.

As the country grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, the new pack which can be easily stored and used again for multiple meals will help consumers to limit their shopping trips, Clark claimed.

“At this time when we are being asked to limit trips to supermarkets, we are finding consumers struggling to keep fresh salad and vegetables in the house and maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. This new innovative pack should help to ensure families can continue to eat healthily while on lockdown,” she said.

The new Classic Crispy resealable pack will be available in 170g bags from 27 April with an RRP of £1.50. The Freshness Guarantee should be on all packs by the beginning of May.
