Funkin Cocktails celebrates 25 years of flavour with £25k on-pack prizes

Funkin Cocktails, the RTD cocktail brand, is set to unveil its biggest on-pack promotion yet to mark 25 years of serving up the nation’s favourite cocktails. The campaign, offering up to £25,000 of prizes, will provide both retailers and consumers the opportunity to cash in over the summer months.

To commemorate its 25th birthday in style, Funkin Cocktails is rolling out 100,000 of its 700ml Bartender Edition Bottles featuring promotional neck tags alongside 80,000 Nitro Can Cocktail Mixed Party Packs complete with convenient QR codes.


Building on the success of last year's "Shake it Lucky" campaign, the B-Corp certified cocktail brand has increased the number of QR codes by almost 50,000 and expanded the promotion across both the Bartender Edition Bottles and Mixed Party Packs, meeting nationwide consumer demand alongside driving engagement and sales.

Running until August 31 across all retail channels, Funkin’s upcoming promotion promises an immersive experience for cocktail enthusiasts nationwide. From scanning the QR code to visiting the dedicated website, participants can engage in a scratch card mechanic to enter the competition. The lucky winner will secure a dream trip for two to Barcelona, whilst the prize pool also includes a Polaroid Now Gen Camera, a mini fridge stacked with Funkin Cocktails and a £100 supermarket voucher.

Funkin Cocktails achieved 12 per cent growth over the last year, taking its valuation to over £24M for its expansive RTD Cocktail portfolio. The segment as a whole has also reached double-digit growth, tapping into the burgeoning trend for cocktails at home. Leading this success is FUNKIN’s Passion Fruit Martini, crowned the nation’s favourite cocktail, which sold almost six million cans last year alone .

“Our award-winning range continues to lead the charge across the off-trade and the launch of our biggest on-pack promotion to date presents another chance for retailers to further their cocktail sales this summer,” said Ben Anderson, FUNKIN’s Marketing Director.

“With an already impressive track record, there’s no time like the present! With Bank Holidays, the Euros, and a summer of sunny days ahead, the competition timing couldn’t be better for retailers across all channels to unlock the full potential of cocktail sales.”

Funkin Cocktails’ promotion, which will allow one winner to win a trip for two to Barcelona, is running across Funkin’s 700ml Bartender Edition Bottles and Nitro Can Cocktail Party Packs nationwide until 31 August 2024.
