Nearby celebrates second anniversary at Twinbrook store

Nearby, the retail brand launched by S&W Wholesale, marked its second birthday with customer-focused day of celebrations with Northern Ireland radio U105 and their very own broadcaster Denise Watson.

Launched in April 2021, Nearby now has over 130 stores across the island of Ireland.

The Nearby marketing and sales teams kicked off the second birthday celebrations at Nearby Twinbrook on 20 April, giving back to the local community and with the added excitement of a radio roadshow by U105 broadcaster Denise Watson.

Throughout the birthday celebrations at store there were over 300 Nearby bags given out to customers with local suppliers’ goodies and Nearby’s spinning wheel proved a popular addition with customers. This new feature at Nearby’s store launches gives customers a chance to win some exciting prizes including vouchers, iPads and hampers.

“It was great to be celebrating Nearby turning two at such a fantastic community store. This long-standing retailer has two Nearby stores with us and was the ideal location to celebrate this milestone with the customers, staff and suppliers of the store,” Daniel Comiskey, Brand Marketing Lead at S&W Wholesale, said.

“Reaching over 130 stores in just two years is testament to the Nearby team and S&W Wholesale. We have a lot more exciting plans to come.”
