A premier store in Gosport has gone viral on Tiktok after millions of users shared and watched clips of this Wynch Lane convenience store stocking a huge range of popular American products.

Gosport’s famous Premier shop is lately seeing an influx of customers, all thanks to some videos and clips of the store that has now garnered thousands of views on Tiktok.

Store owner Imtiyaz Mamode told Asian Trader that it all started two years ago when some customers started demanding popular products from across the pond.

“It is all about customers’ demand. I went with what my customers were demanding and the results have been amazing,” he said.

From the initial five lines, the range grew slowly and steadily to 15 lines to 25 lines to now over 30 lines.

Mamode also revealed that comparatively higher price did not deter customers from buying these products but he still did lots of research and tried different suppliers to get cheaper supplies.

The American range, in fact, now has become almost a unique brand image for this store and made it a social media sensation, especially among youngsters.

“Today 40 per cent of the shop, our shop is around 2800 SKUs, are American products. And most of them came with a customer request.

“Some people are coming here from far-off places. And they ask for chocolates, mainly Hershey Kisses, soft drinks, breakfast cereals and Tango ice blast.

Mamode reveals that constant evolution is also something that keeps his customers’ interest piqued in his store.

“Every six to nine months, we upgrade the store. We add something new after every few months. Like in another couple of months, I am planning to add a new attraction in the form of alcoholic slushies though I am still figuring out the best combination and flavours.”
