Gymshark, Surreal team up to launch limited edition cereal

Iconic gym wear brand Gymshark has teamed up with cereal startup Surreal to launch high protein “Cardi-Os”, a strawberry protein shake flavoured cereal.

Boasting 13g of protein in every bowl, it means one bowl has more protein than two eggs - and tastes a helluva lot nicer too. Sorry, Rocky. Most protein products either taste like chalk or are stuffed with hidden sugar - with its great taste and only 1g of sugar, Cardi-Os doesn’t fall down on either.


The launch ties in with the new “We Do Gym” campaign, highlighting that, while it can sometimes be mistaken for a sports brand or athleisure brand, Gymshark is a gym brand, aimed squarely at gym-goers.

Calum Watson, Partnerships Director, Gymshark said: “We love what the guys at Surreal are doing – the mission, the product, the branding are all so attention-grabbing.

"And if we can collaborate on a product that will help our community reach their fitness goals, then we’re all for it. We were born in the weights room, but this is some Cardi-O we can all get behind.”

Surreal co-founder Jac Chetland said “Gymshark do gym. We do protein. Our Gymshark protein cereal is a match made in gym-heaven. We’re buzzing to be helping Gymshark’s athletes and community hit their protein goals.”

The limited edition Cardi-Os is available from Surreal’s website and Gymshark stores - including their newly opened Stratford store. RRP: £5.99
