Following the success of their March store events, the UK’s leading confectionery wholesaler Hancocks is inviting customers to their Sweetest Day events in May.

The events are designed to celebrate retailers and provide new and existing customers with some of the best offers and deals across popular lines. Sweetest Day celebrations will take place across all 14 of Hancocks’ depots from 8am to 8pm on May 9.

The day will be sponsored by Mondelez International.

Customers will be offered exclusive in-store deals across a range of brands including Swizzels, Haribo, Warheads, Toxic Waste and Pez. Those looking to expand their novelty confectionery range can buy any five products from a selected range of Crazy Candy Factory confectionery and get £12 off. The offer includes top sellers like the Unicorn Light Pop, Sports Flickerz and Funny Face Light Pops.

Some of the wholesaler’s most popular pick and mix lines will also be on offer, with £1.10 off Candy Realms Tubs or buy ten Kingsway bags, and receive a bag of Meerkats for free. Retailers will also have the opportunity to meet representatives from top brands like Swizzels, Haribo, Perfetti, Bazooka and Warrior.

The wholesaler will also host lots of giveaways and prizes on the day, including a BBQ, a CLIF merchandise bundle, a Toxic Waste branded drum to display products and two free cases of Charms Fluffy Stuff. Product samples will also be on offer for those looking to stock up on new must-haves.

Kathryn Hague, Head of Marketing at Hancocks said, “Our Sweetest Day events have been a huge success with our customers. We love welcoming everyone into our stores and letting them make the most of some of our exclusive offers and deals.

“The events are a great opportunity for new and existing customers to stock up on seasonal must-haves, trending products and brand new lines. Meeting brand representatives from the likes of Haribo, Swizzels and Warrior is also a great opportunity for retailers to gain advice and insight into merchandising, upcoming releases and selling advice.

“This May, our deals are truly too good to be missed.”

Hancocks is the UKs leading confectionery wholesaler with 14 nationwide cash and carry stores and an online channel www.hancocks.co.uk. Customers can shop online 24/7 with delivery to the door or click and collect options.
