Henri Wintermans Half Corona cigars get UK-themed limited edition pack

Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) UK has unveiled a United Kingdom-themed limited-edition pack for its Henri Wintermans Half Corona cigars.

Available now, the pack features a ‘dressed up’ Mr Wintermans, with a top hat, umbrella and bow tie in eye-catching union jack livery.

STG said the best-selling cigar has enjoyed a particularly good sales performance this summer, continuing its success in the last year, when it has increased its volume market share from 71.8 per cent to 76 per cent of all medium/large cigars sold, with an annual sales value of just under £15m [IRI MarketPlace].

Alastair Williams, STG’s UK country director, said: “With sales up and summertime still here, we’ve dressed Mr Wintermans up to add a distinctive talking point to the gantry with this United Kingdom Limited Edition.

“Probably down to the good weather and the fact that people have had more time on their hands recently, we’ve seen demand rocket for the Half Corona since the Spring, so I would really encourage retailers to stock this limited edition product and enjoy those extra sales if they can.”
