Hyperama launches Tiger Foodservice

Hyperama launches Tiger Foodservice

Hyperama Group has rebranded its delivered wholesaling business as Tiger Foodservice.

Operating out of its 100,000 sq ft depot in Nottingham, the new ‘one stop shop’ will supply the hospitality, leisure and contract catering sectors, delivering initially into an area within a 100-mile radius.

“Backed by an established family business, Tiger Foodservice is an exciting new name on the block for the Midlands area,” said Marcus Singh, Hyperama chief executive.

“With more than 45 years’ experience in the wholesale sector, and following significant investment in people, logistics and technology, we’re delighted to be able to offer foodservice operators even more choice, quality and value.”

The group has invested in a new multi-temperature delivery fleet as well as a new website and app for easy ordering. The new business will specialize in both food and non-food items including a strong own brand range, fresh fruit, vegetables and premium fresh meat.

Earlier this year, the Nottingham-based wholesaler has moved their foodservice business to Caterforce buying group.

Hyperama is one of the Midlands’ leading family-run cash and carries with an annual turnover of £109 million. It currently has four depots based in Nottingham, Derby, Peterborough and West Bromwich.
