Imperial adds new flavours to blu bar range

Imperial adds new flavours to blu bar range

Imperial has expanded its blu bar disposable vape range, launched at the end of 2022, with four new flavours.

The company said the new flavours will help retailers tap into seasonal sales this summer.

With Blueberry now the top-selling disposable vape flavour and Berry growing rapidly by 60 per cent month-on-month, Imperial has responded to this consumer demand by adding Blueberry Ice, Blueberry Sour Razz, Berry Mix and Grape Ice to the range.

The four new flavours join the existing blu bar variants, including Kiwi Passionfruit, Mango Ice, Banana Ice, Peach Ice, Watermelon Ice and Strawberry Ice, bringing the total range up to 10 flavours.

“With increased demand for fruity flavours in disposables, we’re excited to be extending our popular blu bar range with four new flavours that directly respond to this trend,” Tom Gully, Imperial Tobacco’s Head of Consumer Marketing UK&I commented.

“With summer just around the corner, more adult consumers are likely to be out and about socialising in the coming months as the weather warms up, so we’d recommend that retailers stock up on these new tasty additions now to tap into the seasonal sales on offer this summer.”

The blu bar vape range comprises a quality collection of fully tested and compliant disposable and ready-to-use vape products which are available to buy now at an MRRP of £5.99 per device. Each blu bar contains 20mg/ml of nicotine in 2ml of e-liquid providing up to 600 puffs and features a LED indicator that lights up when in use, along with a compact pocket design for a convenient and satisfying vape experience.

Red Bull introduces new zero calorie drink

Red Bull introduces new zero calorie drink

This winter, Red Bull is broadening its no sugar offer with the global launch of Red Bull Zero, delivering Zero sugar and Zero calories, with the popular flavour of Red Bull Original Energy Drink, the leading single serve soft drink in the market.

Health is now a key concern for shoppers, with 75 per cent considering health when they choose a soft drink [Appinio, July 2024], however, taste continues to be the number 1 driver of purchase [Kantar, July 2023] highlighting the need for a sufficient offering of great tasting no sugar and zero alternatives alongside full sugar soft drinks.

Red Bull Sugarfree caters to this need, providing a no sugar offering but with a distinct flavour that has built up a loyal shopper base. Red Bull Zero aims to fill a gap in the current line-up, for a liquid closer to the taste of Original Red Bull Energy Drink. It meets demand by delivering the same energy boost and taste, but without the sugar, targeting incremental category occasions.

With health such a key consideration for soft drink consumers, Red Bull said it is important to cater to this need within the Energy category. Offering more no sugar options is key to building incrementality for the category with more users, consuming energy drinks more often, and across more occasions. Red Bull has been key to driving this growth, with a portfolio that offers choice, growing shoppers and frequency of its no sugar products year on year and Red Bull Zero aims to drive this further.

The new can also compliments the Red Bull Energy Drink line-up, featuring the brands’ two most distinctive and recognisable assets – the core blue and silver rhombus design and the bull brand logo, along with a ‘New Taste’ flash.
