Imperial launches new blu bar 1000 device

Imperial is taking its disposable vape brand blu bar to the next level with the launch of its new and improved blu bar 1000 device.

Rolling out into the independent and wholesale channels now, blu bar 1000 benefits from an array of product upgrades and new features, providing the perfect solution to help retailers grow their vape sales even further in 2024 and beyond.


Available to buy at an RRP of £5.99, the fully compliant blu bar 1000 range offers up to 1,000 puffs per device and features blu Flavour Tech mesh heater technology to deliver strong bursts of flavour that really lasts. The redesigned casing on blu bar 1000 also means that the liquid level is visible through the translucent mouthpiece, making it much easier to see when the liquid is running low.

With a new removable battery, users can now twist, pop and release it, making it easy to safely dispose of the used battery at a local collection point. A new security lock feature ensures the blu bar 1000 device is fully protected when not in use. blu bar 1000 will initially launch in eight flavours, including Blueberry Ice, Strawberry Ice, Watermelon Ice, Banana Ice, Mint, Grape, Tropical Mix and Blueberry Cherry, with more due to launch in the Spring.

“Demand for disposables has dominated the vape category in recent years, so much so that they’ve grown to account for an impressive 88 per cent of vape sales. We expect this trend to continue shaping the category in 2024 and beyond. Our new blu bar 1000 is the perfect solution for retailers and wholesalers looking to capitalise on this growing sector,” Yawer Rasool, consumer marketing director at Imperial Tobacco UK & Ireland, commented.

“The new device offers an array of new features, including a higher puff count and unique flavour technology, providing an upgraded vaping experience with great tasting flavour that lasts longer – all from the well-known blu brand that consumers know and trust – making blu bar 1000 a must-stock product for any retailers or wholesalers looking to grow their vape sales.”

The launch of blu bar 1000 will be supported by promotions in selected wholesalers, a suite of retailer merchandise and a fresh new look and feel to the blu bar Knowledge Hub to drive awareness of blu bar 1000. The new look blu bar Knowledge Hub will provide retailers with everything they need to know about the blu bar 1000 range, including helpful articles, video content and quizzes, and the chance to win big prizes.

As well as these initiatives to support retailers, Imperial is raising the bar even higher with new exciting multi-year partnerships with music venues and arenas to boost brand awareness of blu bar 1000 even further.

With an MRSP of £1.15, the new product retains the classic colours and flavours of traditional Love Hearts, including Pineapple, Lime, Blackcurrant, Lemon, Cherry, and Orange.

Swizzels’ Love Hearts range remains a Valentine’s Day favourite, led by the popular 39g Giant Love Hearts rolls, which outsell any other Valentine’s SKU with 621,000 units sold during the season.



Other fan-favourites from the range include Love Hearts Originals Hanging Bags, the 15g mini Love Hearts rolls and Giant Love Hearts multipacks.
