J2O unveils seasonal campaign to drive summer sales

J2O, the leading adult soft drink brand from Britvic, has unveiled its latest seasonal activation to drive sales and engage shoppers this summer.

The campaign highlights the brand’s versatility by putting its own spin on two of the nation’s favourite cocktails: the exclusive J2O Spritz Pink Mojito, featuring J2O Spritz Apple & Watermelon accompanied by white rum, and J2O Passion Fruit Cooler, which contains J2O Orange & Passion Fruit and vanilla vodka, combining classic cocktails with the sweet taste of J2O.


Through in-store activation, shoppers will be directed to view the recipes online and get creative with the brand in a new way.

The summer campaign aims to demonstrate that J2O is a perfect mixer for cocktails and help the brand gain further relevance with younger consumers. As half of all cocktail and mocktail drinkers are aged 25-44, the brand said this is a key opportunity for retailers to attract a broader range of shoppers to the soft drinks aisle, with the on-trend flavour combinations tempting consumers to put a twist on classic cocktails.

The promotion will be live from June, with recipes available on j2o.co.uk, and will be supported by a campaign spanning PR, social and digital activity. Grocery retailers will also be supported through in-store activation to drive excitement around the brand’s two new cocktail serve recommendations.
