JAC Vapour launches new concept Puff Box to disrupt disposable vape category

JAC Vapour launches new concept Puff Box to disrupt disposable vape category

Independent vape brand JAC Vapour has announced the launch of a new product, billed as a disruptor in the disposable sector.

The Puff Box, termed the indisposable disposable vape, is designed to offer disposable vape users a significantly cheaper alternative in this cost of living crisis whilst limiting the environmental impact of disposable vaping.

While the disposable vape device market has become increasingly popular within the convenience sector due to their simplicity and ease of use, this convenience comes with a cost for the end user, the brand noted.

Disposable vaping devices are one of the most expensive methods of vaping, with the average cost per unit of £5.99, for approximately 600 puffs. That means the average consumer pays circa £1 per 100 puffs on average.

The easy to use Puff Box device comes with one flavour pod/refill included, providing the user with up to 650 puffs of incredible, smooth flavour for £5.99.

Each refill pack contain 2 refills, launching with six flavours, for only £5.49. Each pack provides up to 1300 puffs, meaning the average Puff Box user will cut their disposable vaping cost in half, at only 42p per 100 puffs.

Puff Box Refills Packaging

The Puff Box launches in three device colours: Brilliant White, Totally Teal and Vibrant Yellow, with a two stripe design and the signature JAC icon. Each kit is supplied with one refill pod as standard, accompanied by six different refill flavour packs to choose from: Pink Lemonade, Sunleaf Tobacco, Ki Berry Cool, Wings Blast, Mango Ice & Absolute Menthol.

Each Puff Box device kit and Refill packs are housed in colourful foil packaging, creating differentiation and stand out while reducing cardboard waste and double packaging.

“Disposable vape devices have seen a huge rise in popularity over the past 12 months but there are now some calls to ban the devices due to the potential environmental impact caused by the waste created. This focus lies mainly on the single use lithium batteries which can cause environmental damage, with an estimated two devices disposed of every second, in the UK alone,” Rob Patrick, sales director at JAC Vapour, commented.

“To alleviate this, the Puff Box has USB-C charging capabilities on a 650mAh battery and is a fully reusable and rechargeable device that keeps both the convenience of disposable vaping and saves the user money. By using twist-and-go refillable pods, the Puff Box also helps to cut down on both lithium and plastic waste, reducing potential chemical harm to the environment”.

JAC Vapour said they are happy to accept empty refills back to recycle and customers can contact sales@jacvapour.com for instructions and a free post label. Puff Box devices can also be recycled and should be disposed of at a local recycling centre that accepts electrical waste, most supermarkets and shops that sell batteries will also have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls or libraries may also set up collection points.

JAC Vapour have also joined the Distributor Take Back Scheme (DTS) which means they financially contribute toward the provision of the WEEE collection facilities by local authorities at recycling centres.
