Knife-wielding robber strikes Weston-super-Mare c-store

Avon and Somerset Police has issued an appeal for witnesses and information following a terrifying knife-point robbery at a convenience store in Weston-super-Mare.

The incident happened at around 9:30 pm on 7 April at a shop located in Aller Parade.


According to authorities, a man wielding a large kitchen knife entered the store, threatening a shop worker. The offender took cigarettes and cash from the premises.

The suspect is described as a man about 5ft 10in tall and slim, white and with ginger stubble. He was dressed in black and also wore gloves and a dark green balaclava. He carried a black duffle bag.

In the wake of the incident, officers swiftly initiated house-to-house enquiries and conducted a thorough forensic examination of the crime scene. Moreover, the store's staff member has been offered crucial from the police victim and witness care service.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have been in the vicinity at the time of the robbery, or have dashcam or other footage, to come forward with any pertinent information.
