KP Nuts achieves £100m RSV milestone

KP Nuts achieves £100m RSV milestone

KP Snacks today announces that its iconic Nuts brand, KP Nuts, has achieved a major new milestone, reaching £100m RSV.

As the UK’s number one Nut brand, at more than four times the size of the nearest branded competitor, KP continues to drive category growth as a trusted and recognisable brand, delivering a versatile range of tasty flavours in a variety of formats that cater to all occasions and tastes.

The past year has been one of KP’s most successful. The KP core range, renowned for its quality and delicious flavours, continued to perform strongly, with the iconic Original Salted Peanuts variant gaining a Great Taste Award.

Meanwhile, KP Flavour Kravers, an innovative sharing range with punchy flavours, expanded with the launch of a new Sweet ‘N’ Smoky BBQ variant. Appealing to younger consumers who over-index in bold flavours, the range is now worth over £5m. The brand also recently launched Honey Roast Peanut Snack Packs, combining a popular flavour with the perfectly portioned format to drive permissible daytime snacking occasions. With a new campaign launched in August highlighting the brand’s superior quality and leading position within the Nuts segment, KP Nuts continues to drive consumer appeal and recognition.

“KP has a long history of delivering great-tasting, high-quality nuts, enjoyed by millions across the country," said Marketing Manager Jenny Blanco Barcia. "Nuts are an essential part of the UK snacks market and KP Nuts has been at the forefront, continuing to deliver on market opportunities and meeting changing consumer demands. We are thrilled to be celebrating a landmark moment for the KP brand and we are excited to build on this momentum.”

Gnaw ‘new-stalgia’: pud-themed Chocolate Spoons and flavoured choc bars

Tapping into “new-stalgia” (an anticipated hot food trend in 2025), Gnaw has been working tirelessly to rethink Great British puddings by creating a number of “Hug in a Mug” classics (Crème Brulée, Bakewell Tart, Sticky Toffee Pud) in conjunction with an impressive “pudfolio” of dessert-flavoured bars: New York Cheesecake, Christmas Pudding, Banoffee Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Desserts may prove divisive. For many the last course will always be a fitting finale to a great meal spent with friends of family, enticing comfort food that offers a nostalgic peek into happy custard drenched, ice cream topped memories from yesteryear. For others, desserts are an unwitting dalliance with guilt-filled soft sponges, buttery pastry, seductively sweet fillings, crumbly toppings, sticky sauces …
