Leading chilled food producer raises funds for men's health awareness campaign

Employees from the leading producer of chilled savoury products, The Compleat Food Group, have raised £3,352 to support the national men’s health awareness campaign Movember.

To help raise funds, male employees across the group’s UK sites have been growing moustaches over the past month and supported the worthy cause last year – surpassing last year’s total of £2,800.

The Compleat Food Group is committed to supporting charitable causes and last year donated more than £23,000 and dedicated more than 55,000 hours of work to help a variety of local and national organisations.

Deborah Bolton, CEO of The Compleat Food Group, said, “We are exceptionally proud of all of our team for taking part and raising much-needed funds for men’s mental health, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

“We would like to thank all our employees for their continued hard work, especially over the past 20 months, and for going the extra mile to help us donate and support local charities and our communities.”

The Movember Foundation runs an annual month-long event to raise awareness of men's health issues, prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men's suicide.

The Compleat Food Group has been formed by the merger of Winterbotham Darby and

Addo Food Group. The group is a leading supplier across the chilled pastry, olives, antipasti,

plant-based and continental meats categories to all major retailers across the UK. This is

delivered via a workforce of nearly 3,000 staff across ten manufacturing sites.

Gnaw ‘new-stalgia’: pud-themed Chocolate Spoons and flavoured choc bars

Tapping into “new-stalgia” (an anticipated hot food trend in 2025), Gnaw has been working tirelessly to rethink Great British puddings by creating a number of “Hug in a Mug” classics (Crème Brulée, Bakewell Tart, Sticky Toffee Pud) in conjunction with an impressive “pudfolio” of dessert-flavoured bars: New York Cheesecake, Christmas Pudding, Banoffee Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Desserts may prove divisive. For many the last course will always be a fitting finale to a great meal spent with friends of family, enticing comfort food that offers a nostalgic peek into happy custard drenched, ice cream topped memories from yesteryear.
