Leading SaaS provider welcomes new clients as demand for digitisation soars

Software as a Service (SaaS) provider Adventoris has welcomed four new retail sector clients as an increasing number of firms set out to digitise their processes and improve customer communication following the pandemic.

Since January, Adventoris has won a total of 24 new clients across multiple sectors, with a particular uptake in the retail sector, onboarding industry leaders, including Bira Direct, on to its SwiftCloud platform, a mobile B2B software that revolutionises the way companies make sales and engage with their customers.

The pandemic has accelerated the progression of digitisation, disrupting traditional sales routes and forcing firms to find new ways of working to keep operating during this uncertain period.

Those that have digitised their sales processes have been benefitting from improved efficiencies for their teams as well as their customers. Customer sales for many have increased by 100 per cent and customers have also saved up to 50 per cent in the time taken to input an order.

Speaking of the new clients, James Clarkson, CEO of Adventoris, said: “We are delighted to welcome so many businesses onboard and are keen to help bring their digital strategies to life via our SwiftCloud platform.

“This is a really exciting time for firms looking to digitise. Following the pandemic and other supply chain issues relating to Brexit and more recently the incident in the Suez Canal, even more businesses are looking for methods to make their operations more digitally efficient and future-proof their sales processes.”

James explained: “We have clients who have seen customers double their turnover once they have digitised. It opens up opportunities where businesses can truly optimise their sales, not to mention providing a robust and resilient sales process that can withstand the disruption of external factors such as the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.”

Jeff Moody, managing director of Bira Direct commented: “By digitising the buying process, Bira Direct’s use of SwiftCloud technology makes product buying easy for independents. Saving time, with the ability to buy at the touch of a button and saving money with straightforward competitive terms.”

Budget 2024: Local shops to face significant new pressure

Local shops will face significant new pressures as a result of today’s Budget, the Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) has warned.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves' budget's impact will be felt unevenly across the UK’s 50,000 convenience stores, with some measures such as business rate relief and the increased employment allowance mitigating costs for smaller independent stores, while providing no help for chains and larger independent businesses.
