Lipton Teas and Infusions confirms Pierre Laubies as CEO

Lipton Teas and Infusions, one the world’s largest tea businesses, has on Wednesday announced the appointment of Pierre Laubies as chief executive.

Laubies has been serving as interim CEO since September 2024, when Nathalie Roos stepped down from the role after two years.


Laubies has served as chairman of the supervisory board from the establishment of the company as an independent business in July 2022, when investment firm CVC completed the acquisition of Unilever’s tea business.

He has 30 years of leadership experience at multinational companies including Mars and Campbell Soup Company. He was the former CEO of Jacobs Douwe Egberts and Coty, and remains a member of the board at Groupe Panzani.

Lipton Teas and Infusions’ portfolio of brands includes household names such as Lipton, Pukka, and PG Tips.
