Lucozade Sport unveils new text-to-win cash promotion

Lucozade Sport has launched a brand-new text-to-win promotion, as part of its on-going partnership with the England national football team.

The brand said the shopper giveaway will help retailers to create excitement around the FIFA World Cup in-store and tap into additional sales around the winter sporting occasion.

Lucozade Sport is giving football fans the chance to win £90 every 90 minutes (max one entry per person per day, Monday-Friday between 9am and 6pm), tapping into the consumer appetite to get match ready this uniquely festive football season.

To be in with a chance of winning, shoppers simply need to purchase any Lucozade Sport product and text ‘CASH’ to 62123, then kick back and wait for the text.

“2022 has been a fantastic year for sport, and as the UK’s number one selling sports drink, we wanted to bring something special to stores this festive season to help them make the most of the unique opportunity to combine sporting occasion and winter festivities this year,” Tom Bell, head of marketing for Lucozade Sport at Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I (SBF GB&I) commented.

“Our partnership with the England national football team and winter activation is certainly set to create a buzz around the season’s biggest matches!”

The promotion is live now until 12 December across all Lucozade Sport products. The campaign will also be supported by PR activity, helping retailers to drive visibility and sales of the Lucozade Sport range during the festive season and beyond.

Gnaw ‘new-stalgia’: pud-themed Chocolate Spoons and flavoured choc bars

Tapping into “new-stalgia” (an anticipated hot food trend in 2025), Gnaw has been working tirelessly to rethink Great British puddings by creating a number of “Hug in a Mug” classics (Crème Brulée, Bakewell Tart, Sticky Toffee Pud) in conjunction with an impressive “pudfolio” of dessert-flavoured bars: New York Cheesecake, Christmas Pudding, Banoffee Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Desserts may prove divisive. For many the last course will always be a fitting finale to a great meal spent with friends of family, enticing comfort food that offers a nostalgic peek into happy custard drenched, ice cream topped memories from yesteryear.
