M S Foods joins Sugro UK

Sugro UK, the member-owned buying and marketing group comprising of over 90 independent wholesalers, announced the expansion of its membership with the addition of M S Foods as a new member to the group.

MS Foods is one of the leading UK fast food wholesalers, located in the south of England from where they have supplied the fast-food trade since 1996. With an annual turnover of over £10m, MS Foods have built a reputation for excellence within the industry.


MS Foods offer a wide range of products including food and non-food categories, competitive prices, and recognised customer service, supported by a field sales team. Their services are aligned to their industry with flexible hours (operating 7 days a week), click and collect as well as delivery services available to the trade to suit customers’ needs. Their temperature[1]controlled vehicles guarantee customers excellent condition of products at time of delivery.

1,100 unsafe soft drinks seized in Southend safety crackdown

Southend-on-Sea City Council officials have secured food condemnation orders from Chelmsford Magistrates Court, resulting in the seizure and destruction of 1,100 unauthorised soft drinks.

The condemned drinks, including Mountain Dew, 7-UP, Mirinda, and G Fuel energy drinks, were found during routine inspections of food businesses across Southend by the council’s environmental health officers.
