Major Hula Hoops £200m milestone reached

KP Snacks has announced that its snack brand Hula Hoops has reached an impressive £200m RSV milestone.

Hula Hoops is a loved and trusted brand and one of the UK’s best-selling snacks, purchased by over 28m UK households every year.


Hula Hoops has played a key role in driving Bagged Snacks category growth, adding £24m RSV in the past year alone, making it the second highest value-adding brand across the category. Hula Hoops continues to generate strong sales, outgrowing the category in volume by +9ppt in the latest 52 weeks.

With a portfolio that extends across growing consumption occasions, Hula Hoops has something for everyone. Available in popular flavours BBQ Beef, Salt & Vinegar, Cheese & Onion and Original, the Hula Hoops core range delivers a familiar favourite that shoppers trust and recognise.

The Big Hoops sub-range caters to lunch and Food to Go occasions, with its Barbecue Beef Grab Bags sitting in the Top 10 meal deal choices and the flavour also taking the top spot in the £1.25 PMP format as the UK’s number one PMP SKU.

Meanwhile, the light and low-calorie non-HFSS Hula Hoops Puft offering is driving growth of the Healthier Snacking segment, outgrowing the category in volume by +14ppt in the latest 52wks.
