KP Snacks today announces the launch of its bold, newMcCoy’s Hot ‘n’ Spicy Grab Bag. The new launch capitalises on the strength of “Spicy” flavours within the Crisps, Snacks and Nuts (CSN) category and follows the launch of McCoy’s Hot ‘n’ Spicy in a £1.25 PMP format earlier this year.

Available in stores now, the new product expands the UK’s number one ridged crisp brand while delivering the full-on-flavour snacking experience that McCoy’s is famous for. Providing McCoy’s signature crunch alongside the perfect blend of spice and seasoning, McCoy’s Hot ‘n’ Spicy caters to consumer demand, with “Spicy” representing the third-largest flavour partition in CSN.


The new Grab Bag format capitalises on the growth of Food to Go occasions with consumers increasingly opting for convenient and affordable lunches. Promising a punchy and irresistible flavour, McCoy’s Hot ‘n’ Spicy is the ideal snack for livening up lunchtimes.

"Retailer taste tests have already yielded amazing results, with 100 per cent of C&I retailers surveyed saying they 'love' the flavour of McCoy’s Hot ‘n’ Spicy and would stock it – a testament to its excellent credentials.”

McCoy’s Hot ‘n’ Spicy 45g Grab Bags have an RRP of £1.15.

The McCoy’s brand is worth £190m and growing at five per cent ahead of the overall CSN category. The brand was recently named as the NFL’s Savoury Snacks Partner across the UK and Ireland in a three-year deal running until March 2027.
